Boston Does Saratoga: Part I

I am one of those nerdy cool people that still makes a massive bucket list each season and 

so it happened, at the top of my 2014 Summer To-Dos was a Girls Road Trip.

It seemed kismet when I received an invitation to take a road-trip via luxury coach 

with 17 or so of my fellow Boston bloggers to Saratoga for a day at the races.

The lovely people at New York based S.I.L.K. sent me this beautiful shorts suits from their Fall 2014 collection. The full range women’s brand is comprised mainly of silk and 

silk blend pieces geared towards the modern woman.

Each item is crafted with a contemporary concept in mind while managing the delicate balance of ladylike flair, the incorporation of current trends and simplicity.

As we embarked on what was sure to be an epic trip, we enjoyed delicious treats and rosé provided by Richer Pour while filming bits for America’s Best Racing and later, Fox Sports 1.

Upon arriving, we were ushered into the exclusive Buyer’s Balcony at Fasig Tipton for a delicious brunch and special presentations from President of Centennial Farms Donald V. Little Jr and the talented trainer of Wicked Strong, Jimmy Jerkens.

It was a bit of a blogger’s dream, from a Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar, to a large platter of delectable macarons in addition to a fresh and healthy menu.
