When I hear about statistical data regarding the safety or perhaps cleanliness of an object or area, I usually pay attention.
Here are some that have caused me to change course a bit or just ingest: (I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to picking up random pieces of information):
People dislike being in the stall that will be most frequently passed by others, they want every bit of privacy they can get.
Only useful if you survive the crash or have a parachute (no one can leap out while the plane is in a downward spiral without being killed on impact). Nonetheless, I do still fly in the window seats over the wing.
4. If you swallow chewing gum it will take your body 7 years to digest. Not true at all, especially with the ingredients used in today’s packages. Though chewing gum is mainly indigestible, it will pass through the digestive system at the same rate as all other food.
5. Bulls are not enraged by the color red; they’re actually dichromats so they aren’t even able to see the vividness of the color. What maddens the bull is the movements it sees which incites its desire to charge.
