Valentine’s Day Beauty: Inspired by Fashion Week Snaps

Let me preface this post with the statement that I love when a girl has the 

confidence to wear a bold lip – especially red.

However, it has definitely been the consensus from each and every man that it is

not a favorite and in fact a bit of a romance deterrent  

 (they do not want to lean over the table as often for a smooch if they know 

they will be returning to their seat with a rose stained pout themselves.)

 

 

 

 

 With that said, my opinion is as always, do whatever makes you happy.

 My preference is always with a fairly natural look, a bit more accentuation

on my eyes if the occasion so calls.

 

 

 

Below are some beautiful examples from fashion week that will be sure to catch 

your dining companions eye without discouraging romantic inclinations.

 

 A lip color a few shades darker than your skin tone,

scarce eye makeup with exception to a few passes with a mascara wand.

Fresh glowing skin – less is most certainly more.

 

 

I have been prepping my skin for a few days (for another event prior to VDay)

with Exfolikate and a thick cream that is basically an overnight facial.   

 

 

 

 A gorgeous cat eye and delicate dusky rose color can create 

all the drama you need – her brows are perfection. 

 

 

 

 Sun-kissed skin achieved with gold and bronzes is a never fail stunner.

 

 

 Masha Voronina keeps things so barely there with a pretty glossed topped pink.

 

 

 A look from Pamela Roland, burnt red is definitely less obtrusive
